CAREER

Past Federations

Championship Wrestling Alliance - The CWA was owned and operated by Mike Blair. Blair ran the CWA for three years, until closing it for what looks like the final time on Friday, August 21, 1999. Sane made his mark on the CWA when he beat Man-O-War to win his first and only CWA title, the CWA Hardcore Title. Sane finished his CWA career as a perfect 5-0 and never lost his title. He was also honored by winning the CWA Ring Master Award for the Best Hardcore Champion in CWA history.

When Worlds Collide 5 - WWC 5 was a singles wrestler tournament. Consisting of four rounds, Justin Sane was sent to the even to represent the NAWF. Sane defeated current arch rival Dub in the first round, and easily defeated Colt Steele in the second round. Sane was knocked out of the tournament in the third round however, in a loss to Special K. Despite he slight lack of success, Sane did extremely well at the tournament when you factor in his age in comparison to the rest of the wrestlers.

Favorite Matches

Justin Sane -vs- Man-O-War - It was a match to decide the CWA Hardcore Champion. No rules, anything goes. It was also Sane's third match on the same night, having to go through Garrett Kett and Apocolypse to earn the shot at the title. The people watching Tuesday Thriller that night witnessed young Justin Sane at a great wrestling level, only to get better, as he captured his first ever title.

Justin Sane -vs- Dub - Sane's second match for the NAWF. It was for the NAWF Light Heavyweight Title, and it was an extreme Scaffold Fire Match. After a unlikely event in the matched forced a slight change in the rules, Justin made Dub tap out and won his first NAWF title.

Justin Sane -vs- Dub - In the immediate rematch for the NAWF Light Heavyweight Title, Justin Sane and Dub battled it out in a bloody barbed wire match. Although Sane lost the match, it was a showcase of what was to come of Sane in the months of NAWF competition.

Justin Sane -vs- Slash, Thriller, Venom - In a four corners match for the United States Title, Justin Sane showed the federation who the best man in the match was, and who more then deserved the United States Title. With what some would call ease, Sane defeated the other opponents and walked out of the match NAWF United States Champion, and title he would hold until the end of his first NAWF days.

Justin Sane -vs- "Iron Man" Wil Howard - After a grueling night that contained four matches, Sane met "Iron Man" Wil Howard in the finals of the 1999 NAWF King of the Ring. Within three minutes, Sane easily handled Howard and went on to become the 1999 NAWF King of the Ring.

Title/Award History

CWA Hardcore Title - Sane's first title. He defeated Man-O-War after a night of three matches to claim the belt. Defended only once in a Submission Match with Sin, the only thing that could take the title of CWA Hardcore Champion from Sane was the federation itself, closing its doors temporarily while Sane held the title.

NAWF Light Heavyweight Title (2x) - Sane won the title twice, both times defeating the current champion Dub. The first of the two matches was only Sane's second match in his NAWF career. He defeated Dub via submission in a brutal Scaffold Fire match, only to lose the belt the next week to Dub in a Barbed Wire match. Sane later regained the title when he defeated Dub and Bobby Krupka in a Triangle Match. Sane lost the belt for the final time at Spring Fever, when he was defeated by "Never Surrender" Shane Wausau in a four corners match. The other wrestlers in the match were Bobby Krupka and Darkness.

NAWF United States Title - Sane won the United States Title when he defeated Slash, Thriller, and Venom in a four corners match. Sane defended the title only once, against Venom. Sane never lost the title in a match, but left the NAWF as the United States Champion in spring of 1999.

NAWF 1999 King of the Ring - In a four match tournament that ended with Sane easily beating "Iron Man" Wil Howard, Sane was named the 1999 King of the Ring, which would later earn him a World Heavyweight Title shot (Sane would battle to a time limit draw with Reverend Horton Heat and Bam Bam Buzza in the match). Prior to Wil Howard and the finals, Sane defeated Ash LaCroix, Too Fly Jay, and Venom.

CWA Ring Master Award: Best Hardcore Champion - In Summer of 1999, Sane was awarded the CWA Ring Master Award as the Best Hardcore Champion in the federation's history. Truly a great honor, Sane beat out his former opponent Man-O-War in the voting.

Affiliations

Da Bomb Squad - Sane's first ever stable. He requested acceptance into the group just days after signing with the CWA. Other members include longtime friend Brad "Buff" Baggs, X-Head, and Logan Cain.

World Innovators - Justin asked to be let into this stable after only days in the NAWF. He was asked to prove himself, which he easily did, and then was allowed into the World Innovator family. Sane had many ups and downs with the Innovators, a stable which include of such NAWF greats as Nighthawk, Reverend Horton Heat and many many others.

Michael "The Killer" Blaze - Sane's first and only tag team partner. Sane and Blaze formed The Nation of Pain, and wrestled in only two matches together before breaking up and going their separate ways.
